Real encoder, real quality

GIFs use a two-pass palette instead of the lazy default, so gradients and skin tones don't turn into mud.

Loop flags set properly for GIF and WebP, plus an optional crossfade to hide the seam.

    Square, vertical, portrait or leave it alone. A live overlay shows exactly what survives the crop.

The honest limitations

  • 500 MB and 2 minutes, max. Browsers only get so much memory. Bigger than that and the tab would fall over.
  • GIF and WebP stop at 30 seconds. They have no interframe compression, so a long clip becomes an absurd file. MP4 uses your whole selection.
  • Phones can struggle. It works on mobile, but a large clip on a low-memory device may be slow or give up entirely. A laptop is a safer bet.
  • First run downloads the engine. The video engine is a few tens of megabytes. It loads once per visit, then conversions start instantly.
