Frankie Fox, trading as Easy Loop, is the data controller for personal data collected through the Easy Loop website and app. The short version: your videos and the files you make are processed in your browser and never reach us.

What we collect and why

• Account details (email, sign-in provider ID) — to create and secure your account (contract performance).
• Usage log (file name, clip length, formats and sizes produced, download count) — to provide the service, enforce plan limits and improve the product (contract; legitimate interests).
• Plan and purchase status (plan, renewal date, credits, team seat emails) — to give you the access you paid for (contract).
• Technical data (IP address, device and browser info) — for security and fraud prevention (legitimate interests).
• Support messages — to help you (legitimate interests).

Who we share it with

• Hosting and infrastructure providers who run the service for us.
• Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for sale of the product, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed.
• Authorities where required by law.

Retention

We keep account and usage data while your account is open and delete or anonymise it when no longer needed, or within 90 days of account deletion, except where we must keep records by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live you may access, correct, delete, restrict or export your data, object to processing, withdraw consent and complain to your local privacy regulator. Contact us to exercise these rights; we respond within one month. Where data is transferred internationally we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls and per-account data isolation to protect your information.

Cookies and local storage

We use only essential storage to keep you signed in and remember your export settings on this device. We don't use advertising cookies.
